The Left-Handed Marriage

The Left Handed Marriage were a group Brian worked with before Queen, in 1967. Though never a member of the group, Brian did take part in one recording session. However the three tracks he assisted with were not released until fairly recently, when they appeared on the CD re-issue of the group's only album. The tracks have also been quite heavily bootlegged. None of them feature Brian extensively, and his audible contribution is minimal, but if you like the Smile tracks, you'll probably like these anyway. Just don't expect to hear much of Brian.

Appointment

Original
Probably the best of the three tracks, and not unlike Smile's "Step On Me" in style and sound. Quite a sixties sound, but that is to be expected and its dated well. Brian plays backing guitar (not that you can really tell). Time 2:37

She Was Once My Friend

Original
With an intro uncannily like that of "Earth" by Smile, this track again features Brian on backing guitar. Less catchy than "Appointment", but harmless enough, although once again you can't really hear Brian. Time 3:17

I Need Time

Original
The most interesting of the three tracks, from a "Brian" point of view. Not only does Brian play backing guitar on this track, he also provides some backing vocals. If you listen hard you may just make him out, but don't expect too much. Time 3:14
